World Homeless & Mental Health Day Message

Today is World Homeless Day and World Mental Health Day.

I had the opportunity to sit down with Chris Moss, Executive Director of London Cares Homelessness Response, an organization truly on the front lines of responding to homelessness here in London.

Chris and her team are doing phenomenal work in our community. If you're not familiar with exactly what London Cares does, Chris gives a great brief overview in this video.

She also shares an important message for today about the need for compassion, understanding, and empathy toward those experiencing homelessness and facing daily struggles that many of us may never fully understand.

I encourage you to take a few minutes to watch and hear her message.

Check the comments below for more information about London Cares, and my approach to addressing homelessness, and some additional thoughts on this important issue.

Organizations like London Cares are doing incredibly important work every single day, often in challenging circumstances that most of us never see.

I encourage everyone to learn more about their work and the people they support.
